Cohen 1939 Guide

Cohen 1939 is a top-down action shooter set in the criminal underworld of Birmingham, England, in 1939. You play Elisa Cohen, a widow whose gangster husband is murdered in the opening act; the rest of the game is her revenge, delivered one one-hit-kill firefight at a time. Fragile protagonists, ruthless rooms and instant retries put it in the Hotline Miami family of games — wearing a rain-soaked period crime drama instead of neon.

The game releases on September 29, 2026 (PT) on Windows PC. A demo ran from May 22 to September 22, 2026, and is now gone; the studio says the full game differs significantly from it. This site is written to be useful both to demo veterans and to players arriving fresh on launch day.
